Arrived yesterday evening around 5:00, with day light savings now finished it was starting to get dark.
We normally go and get our shopping from the Coles in the middle of Nelson Bay, but when Karla checked for the closing time we found that it has been knocked down and a Woolworths is going to take it’s place in the next 14 months.
So we had to travel back to Salamander Bay to the shopping centre there for our supplies for the week. A lot of the locals are not happy with loosing the only supermarket in Nelson Bay. We also park there for the cinemas so that will be a bit harder now as well.
The girls our outside playing in the sun, doing something in the dirt and making friends with any kids who happen to come by.
While today it’s not raining there is a very strong wind, when I last checked it was close to 50 kmh and a lot of leaves, branches and howling is happening outside.
A little too windy for the beach unfortunately and the rest of the week it’s suppose to rain…
