Floodwaters cause havoc across far north Queensland

THE small north Queensland town of Tully was isolated yesterday by rising floodwaters, which cut the Bruce Highway in three places as a massive downpour driven by the first monsoon of the season dumped more than 600mm of rain in 48 hours.
