A Greek and an Scotsman were sitting in a Starbuck’s cafe one day discussing who had the superior culture. Over triple lattes the Greek guy says, ‘Well, we Greeks built the Parthenon,’ arching his eyebrows.

The Scotsman then replies, ‘Well… It was the Scots that discovered the Summer and Winter Solstices.’

The Greek retorts, ‘We Greeks gave birth to advanced mathematics.’ The Scotsman, nodding in agreement, says, ‘Scots were the ones who built the first timepieces and calendars.’

And so on until the Greek comes up with what he thinks will end the discussion. With a flourish of finality he says, ‘The Greeks were the ones who invented sex!’

The Scotsman replies, ‘Indeed, that is true, but it was we Scots who introduced it to women.’

Seems that I have been having my posts go out with the wrong date on them and it also looks like the auto emailing of posts has also stopped working correctly to.

The first problem with the dates has been fixed for some reason my server had picked up the wrong regional zone, even though I had picked the correct one when I did the reinstall.

The second problem of email posts might be fixed, I did change a setting in my email set up so you may or may not get this so I’ll see having publishing the post, I guess.

I also have another domain now called stoker.id.au also being hosted on this server.

We’ll another Australia Day’s over, we did end up going out to diner to the Lone Star, were Jessie sort of ate a burger, but polished of the ice cream in no time flat. We finished just in time to get out and close to Parramatta park where there were fireworks. Unfortunately they had closed of all of the roads around the park so we weren’t able to get as close as we would have liked to.

It was also raining as well so we ended up watching from the car.

Happy Australia Day

I’m looking out of the kitchen window at the temperature, which is currently showing 41c, in the shade. The aircon is working hard to keep the inside temperatures down. Not sure how poor Karla or Jessie would have gone with no aircon in the house.

Also this weather has been around for a few days now, so it doesn’t really make you want to go outside or even do too much in the house as it’s so hot.

Sort of glade that we don’t have any plans at the moment to go visiting people.
