Andrew and Karla's Place

Two blonde girls were working for the city council public works department.
One would dig a hole and the other would follow behind her and fill the hole in.
They worked up one side of the street, then down the other, then moved on to the next street,
working furiously all day without rest, one girl digging a hole, the other girl filling it in again.

An onlooker was amazed at their hard work, but couldn’t understand what they were doing. So he asked the hole digger,
‘I’m impressed by the effort you two are putting into your work, but I don’t get it  _   why do you dig a hole, only to have
your partner follow behind and fill it up again?’
The hole digger wiped her brow and sighed, ‘Well, I suppose it probably looks odd because we’re normally a three-person team.
But today the girl who plants the trees called in sick.’

Congratulations from all of us here, we’re all glad to hear that Riette and Lara are both doing well, below are the details sent through from Rick, who I am sure is a proud Dad.

Lara was born on Sunday 26^th October 2008 at 12:08pm.  She was a natural birth at RNS Hospital. Weighing in at 3.86kg (8lb 2oz) and 51cm (19”) long.

Riëtte and Lara will be returning home on Tuesday morning.  Please phone before visiting.  Rest time is between 1:00pm and 3:30pm.

Mum and family are all doing well and we hope to visit everyone in the very near future.

Some funny pictures being sent around the office this morning. You can tell it’s Monday as most people are not yet ready to do any work.

Enjoy some pictures may not be suitable for younger viewers, but there is nothing to bad.

I’ve placed a few new pictures of Jessie up yesterday in the gallery, these are of her having lunch or breakfast can’t remember, which it was now.

There are also some of Meow as well walking around on her three legs, the vet has said she is now free to go outside, so this will happen tomorrow as we will all be at home. I’ll be home for the rest of the week to do a few things around the house.

Chrissy the 3 legged cat

So after one operation to save her leg and being told there would be a full recovery, it turned out that her arteries in the leg had been damaged. This meant the leg was dead and needed to be removed.

Lucky for her as she would not likely still be here if that had been the first option, as we only had the operation done as we were expecting her to fully recover.

So anyway she seems quite happy hopping around now with only one back leg.

A man wakes up one morning in Alaska to find a bear on his roof So he looks in the yellow pages and sure enough, there’s an ad for ‘Bear Removers’.

He calls the number, and the bear remover says he’ll be over in 30 minutes.

The bear remover arrives, and gets out of his van. He’s got a ladder, a baseball bat, a shotgun and a mean old pit bull.

What are you going to do?’ the homeowner asks.

I’m going to put this ladder up against the roof, then I’m going to go up there and knock the bear off the roof with this baseball bat.  When the bear falls off, the pit bull is trained to grab his testicles and not let go. The bear will then be subdued enough for me to put him in the cage in the back of the van.’

He hands the shotgun to the homeowner.

What’s the shotgun for?’ asks the homeowner.
