Andrew and Karla's Place

Been really busy at work the last couple of days, with the project and things look like getting much busier now as we move forward,

Both Karla and Jessie are not the best currently, Karla’s been sick now for almost a week and Jessie still seems to have a bad cough every now and then. I really think Karla shouid stay home again today, but I’m sure she wont.

Karla and Jessie went to the McDonalds playground at Merrylands yesterday with the Mothers group and Jessie must have decided yesterday was a good day for just walking around. Karla told me she was walking every where. Last night she was walking all around the lounge room from place to place and not relying on holding on to any furniture. If I was the cats now is the time to start worrying.

Must go now and get ready for work.

The picture on the left is of Karla at around 12 months old, the one on the right is of Jessie at around the same age.

Now I think she really looks like Karla wouldn’t you agree.

I’ve finally started uploading some of the recent pictures of Jessie to the Gallery. I’m working backwards so currently I’m uploading pictures from September 2007 going back. I guess most people will want to see the most recent pictures of her.

I’ll get them all uploaded evently, currently there is close to a 1000 pictures that I’ve restored and no they are not all of Jessie.

There are two different links to the gallery, the first one is with integration  with the WordPress Portal and the second just a straight link to the gallery. For just going through and viewing pictures, then the second link is probably better for most people as this gives you more screen space.

I’m looking at playing around with the look and feel once I get a bit more familar with the code behind the portal and gallery software, but I am trying to stay with a more cleaner and easier to use look for the site.

Anyway that’s enough for now.

We had Jessie’s car set turned around today, with her being 14 months now. She found the new mode of transport much to her liking. She was laughing. calling out and generally having a good time in the back.

For some reason it was immensly funny every time I turned round to look at her, it was funny to see her looking out the window at what was going by.

Feet kicking and shoe sucking also seemed very popular on her trip home from day care.

I have to appologise if anyone received several emails last night about the WP2 update. I’m not quite sure why this change should have generated messages out to people.

Anyway by now you know that I’ve updated the gallery set up, just coming to terms with it now, it adds some new functionality, some better some I’m not so sure about.

Will definately upload some pictures in the next couple of days.
